Powerful Varahi

Our Varahi

There are lots of changes in the way of worship within India as the knowledge of men matures, a lot of sculptures and poses can be noted in different parts of India. Gods were given different religious symbols as religions emerged.

Our Varahi has a blue chakra like Lord Shiva’s third eye and carrying rosary. She holds a fish in the upper left hand and a holy bowl in the lower right hand. She will be showing Earth Mudra in lower left hand (saving the earth) by sitting on top of Lotus flower.

She likes Yellow, gold color. It is also nice if we wear yellow towel always while standing in front of her. We should pray to her by keeping our hands open toward sky.

We perform abhishek with pastes of turmeric, sandal, rose water, tender coconut, kumkum, milk and curd. We can visualize the inhaling and exhaling of “Varahi”.We offer Jaggery, tamarind, cardamom mixed in water .We can also offer dates soaked in honey. Devotees who have been coming for years have visualized the god fully.

Once you have started worshipping her fully, she will start to come to your house during poojas. It can be acknowledged by anklet sound. It is always good to worship her in between 8pm to 12 pm, It is a firm belief that she will take your offerings from your home and blesses you with full of prosperity.

Preaching or Sermon in our Shrine

We pray God for Health, wealth and prosperity in our shrine. The way to worship god and also to develop internal relationship with almighty is preached.

Ganesh:

Lord Ganesh is described as first god in Hindu legends .After attending this, fear of death can be relieved. Also you can visualize herds of elephants.

Murugan:

We can visualize the “divine spear” while worshipping lord muruga. This divine spear takes several dimensions and preaches us several things.

Hayagreeva:

The growth of man is estimated with growth of knowledge .For prospering well in education, we need to worship Lord Hayagreeva and Goddess Gnana Varahi.

Narasimha:

Lord Narasimha feels happy when we worship him by the name “Singa Arasane”.He helps us in many ways throughout the life.

Lakshmi:

In Saivam and Vaishnavam, Goddess lakshmi is adored as goddess of wealth. North Indians used to worship by placing it on owl. These kind of preaching are limelight in our shrine.

Bhairavar:

He possesses the characteristics of Lord Shiva. His 64 postures include “Swarna Bhairavar”, who will yield lots of gold. Similarly by worshipping Lord Jambhala and Lord Dhanvanthri, we can be prospered with wealth and health.

Varahi:

We can worship lord varahi as “Veera Varahi”to obtain strength and as “Dhairya Varahi”to obtain courage. Cholas used to worship Lord Varahi as “Vetri Varahi”to achieve victory. If we worship Lord Varahi as “dhanavasankari”, we can visualize prosperity in wealth.

Balaji:

Thiruvonam Pooja and Shri Balaji Upadesam are related to one another. We will be giving a specially Prepared Photo of “Shri Balaji”.By Worshipping and performing Pooja with this photo yields Prosperity and wealth.
